Twin Falls Trip

I have been meaning to post these pictures for over a month now but I just haven't gotten around to blogging for awhile. Oops!
At the beginning of September we made a quick trip to Twin Falls to spend the weekend with Ray's parents. We had a great time. Normally Zach doesn't sleep to good when we travel so we always dread that part of traveling but Zach did an excellent job on this trip. He slept great which made him one happy active boy. It had been awhile since Ray's parents had seen Zach and I think they were surprised by how active he is. If he wasn't sleeping or eating he was running. He had a great time with Grandma and Grandpa Wuthrich!
On our trip we were able to stop by Shoshone Falls, which was beautiful. It was the first time Zach had seen a waterfall and he loved it. He still talks about the waterfall with the rainbow. We were also able to spend some time with Zach's great Grandma Fullmer. Ever since Zach was a baby he has always loved her. Whenever she holds him he is always calm and happy. It was great to spend time with her.
Here are some pictures from our trip.

Happy Birthday Little Guy!

Zach turned 2 on the 12th and I think he had a great birthday. We started the day off by giving him his first present as soon as we got him out of bed. It was a Lightning McQueen car, he was pretty excited!

Then Zachy and I went to IHOP for breakfast and spent the rest of the morning playing at the park.
I spent the rest of the afternoon making a Lightning McQueen cake, which I thought turned out pretty awesome.

We went to Chuck E Cheese for dinner with my family which was a ton of fun. I think Ray and I had just as much fun as Zach, if not more.
Then we had my family over for presents and cake. Zach had so much fun opening presents. He got the hang of really quick. He got some pretty awesome gifts too. Lots of cars, puzzles, mega blocks, a book, an outfit, a Mack trailer, and a Lightning McQueen couch. He was so excited we had a hard time getting him to go to bed that night.

Zach enjoyed his cake for about 5 seconds when he remember all of his new toys that needed to be played with. Oh well, everyone else seemed to enjoy the cake!

Here is Zach the day after his birthday laying on his Lightning McQueen couch/bed, using his Lightning McQueen pillow, wearing a Lightning McQueen shirt, holding Lightning McQueen in his hand, while watching his Cars movie. Can you tell how much he loves Lightning McQueen?

I think Zachy had a pretty awesome birthday!!

My Husband Rocks!

Ray completed his first half marathon yesterday and did awesome! He finished 13.1 miles in 1 hr 59 min 52 sec...AMAZING! It was a very hot morning with absolutely no wind to help cool him down so by the end he was sweaty, dehydrated, and sunburned. It definitely wasn't his ideal running condition but he still did awesome. Zach and I were there waiting for him as he finished. I was so proud of him and I think he was pretty proud of himself too. What an accomplishment!!
Here is is heading for the finish line:

Half marathon - finished.

You rock Ray!!

Here we go again...

We are having another baby! I am about 13 weeks along and so far things are looking great. My official due date is April 6th, although my last ultrasound put the due date as March 31st. AS long as everything goes as planned I will have surgery on my cervix on October 17th.
This has definitely been a rough pregnancy so far. Not only have I been miserably sick but I have been paranoid/terrified the entire time. This is my 5th pregnancy and I only have 1 living child. As you can see, the odds are not in my favor. The idea of having a baby is exciting but getting there is terrifying. I have a feeling the next 6 months are going to be very long and emotional but as long as there is a healthy baby in the end it will definitely be worth it. So, if I don't act super excited to be pregnant over the next few months don't get worried. I am very excited but sometimes the fear outshines the excitement.
Here are some pictures of the little guy (that's my early prediction):

A Creative Soul

Who needs a bed when you have a suitcase?

Who needs a chair when you have a table tray?

Who needs a hat when you have a shoebox?

We did it!

Today Ray and I ran our first 10k race. I was pretty excited for it until we pulled up to the park and there were so many runners there, and they looked like real runners. I was hoping for more people like me...people who try to run but still suck at it. Everyone else looked so intense and fit. Once the race started I quickly fell to the back of the pack but Ray stayed right up towards the front/middle with the rest of the real runners. Ray finished with a great time and he really enjoyed the race. I know I am slow so my goal was to just finish the race before they take down the clock. I did that with a few minutes to spare so I was happy! I'm not going to lie, I am pretty proud of myself. For me, 6.4 miles is pretty amazing! It is something I never thought I could do.
Ray is going to run the half marathon is September but it looks like I will not be able to run with him. I am going to take the next month or so off from running so my shins can completely heal from shin splints. I am excited for Ray though and hopefully I will be able to run it with him next year!
Do you want to know what the best part of the race was today? I had about a half mile left in the race and I see Ray walking towards me. He came to help me run the last stretch. I love that guy! Then when I got close to the finish line there was a group of my friends there yelling my name and cheering me on. What a great finish to the race!

Geesh Geen

One of the most popular names in our house these days is Geesh Geen. Zach LOVES Lightning McQueen but hasn't quite figured out how to say his name. So what come out of his mouth when trying to say Lightning McQueen? Geesh Geen! Oh that kid, it is so fun listening to him talk!
A couple weeks ago Grandma bought Zach a Lighting McQueen pillow pet. She hadn't planned on buying it when we went to the store but when we couldn't get it out of Zach's hands to put it back on the shelf she so graciously offered to buy it for him. What a wonderful Grandma! Zach loves his Geesh Geen! Seriously, he absolutely loves it. It goes everywhere with him, well, everywhere mom will allow him to take it. He sleeps with it every night and carries it around with him all day. The other night I took him into his bedroom to put him down for the night and I forgot to grab Lightning McQueen from the couch. As soon as we got into his bedroom he randomly started crying, with real tears, and said Ggeesh Geen". He loves that pillow! So here are some pictures of Zachy and his favorite Geesh Geen.

You can't forget Panda!

Blueberry Festival

The Saturday before the 4th of July we went with my parents to the Blueberry Festival. You don't know what the Blueberry Festival is? Well neither did we. Here are some pictures to show you just what a blueberry festival is.

U-pick blueberries

Hayride

Treehouse/Playground

Fresh Blueberry Doughnuts- Ray said these doughnuts might have been the best doughnuts he has ever had

There was also a craft/antique fair that I didn't have any pictures of.

We all had such a great time at the Blueberry Festival that we can't wait for the Fall Festival and the Christmas Festival!
