SMILES!

A couple of weeks ago Zach gave us his first smile and laugh. It was the cutest thing in the world. Ray was holding Zachary and I leaned over and kissed him and out came a big smile accompanied by the most adorable laugh. He had previously smiled but only in his sleep so we were really excited when he started smiling at us. I have been trying to get pictures of his smile but I never can seem to take the picture at the perfect moment but here are the pictures I have taken so far.

Zach has also learned to start sucking his finger. He bends his index finger into a hook and sucks it. It is really funny to watch because he isn't coordinated enough keep his finger in his mouth. His mouth has to chase his finger all over until it finally finds its way into his mouth.

Zachary's Blessing

On Saturday morning Ray blessed our little Zachary. I hate to brag but Zach looked so handsome in his little blessing outfit that his Grandma bought for him. We were supposed to bless Zach at 10:00 at our house but out 1st counselor forgot about the blessing so we waited for 1 1/2 hours for him to arrive. By that time Zach had woken up from his nap and was hungry. So naturally he cried through the entire blessing. Ray had to cut the blessing short but he did an excellent job despite the screaming. It was a day to remember!

What a Stud

One of my favorite things about Zach is his hair. The other day I decided that since he has so much hair I could style it. Check out his mohawk. He looks so cute and I think he loved having a mohawk. I think he felt pretty cool.

Trick or Treat

Ray was hoping that since we have a kid now we could use him as an excuse to go trick or treating on Halloween. Zach didn't get to go trick or treating (so Ray didn't get any candy) but he did get to dress up. Ray described Zach's outfit as the coolest baby outfit in the world. What do you think?

Splish Splash Zach Loves Taking a Bath

One of my favorite things to do with Zach is bath time. He really enjoys it too. Well actually, he normally sleeps through it but when he is awake he enjoys it. His towel, the lizard, is one item that Ray said we absolutely had to buy for Zach. He looks so cute all wrapped up in it.

2 Weeks Old

The last two weeks have been pretty crazy but very exciting. Zach is a great little baby. He loves his sleep, which is nice for his parents. He hardly ever cries and he makes lots of funny facial expressions. Ray just loves to stare at the little guy to see what face he is going to pull next.
We have had lots of family come visit Zachary which we have really enjoyed. Here are some pictures of Zach's first 2 weeks of life.

He is 8 lbs 7.9 oz, 21 inches long, and the cutest baby in the world.
We love him so much and we couldn't be happier.

The Big Belly

This is the most recent picture of my big belly. This picture was taken about 3 weeks ago so I have grown quite a bit since then.
At the last ultrasound (2 weeks ago) they said the baby is looking like he weighs about 7 lbs. We don't know how big he is now but he is most likely going to be one big baby. I am getting my stitches taken out of my cervix in 2 days and he can come anytime after that. We are hoping he comes soon because I don't want to deliver an 11 lb baby.

I did it!!

My brother Tyler called me a few weeks ago and said that since we are having a baby we need to start a blog. Here is it. I am warning everyone, I am horrible at updating things like this so don't expect a ton from me. I will atleast try to update it with pictures of our baby. Enjoy!!
